The next class of inductees to the Webster Groves High School Statesmen Sports Hall of Fame has been selected and are listed below. They will be honored at a banquet to be held Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Westborough Country Club in Webster Groves. Tickets for the event can be purchased online here: Hall of Fame Tickets

The Webster Groves Board of Education met Thursday, August 27, and received updates on the start of the 2026-27 school year and progress on projects funded through the district’s bond program.

The ranking reflects the continued success of WGHS students in academics and college preparation. Members of the Class of 2026 earned an average ACT score of 23.9, above the state average, while 95% of students earned a score of 3 or higher on AP exams
The levy is a targeted investment designed to protect the exceptional educational standards our community values. Through the last few months we have heard from you through surveys, community forums and in other areas. Overwhelmingly, you have said that we must maintain our strong academic and extracurriculars and attract and retain great educators and staff.

Right now, we are at an important and challenging crossroads. Like many school districts, we are experiencing rising costs and financial pressures that we can no longer absorb within our current budget. Simply put, we cannot continue operating as we are today without making significant changes.
